On Sunday, 4/20, we visited Smokenhagen, Copenhagen’s first cannabis social club, on its opening day. The club hosted an open house, but moving forward, only patients with approved ESS/Schengen prescriptions will be allowed entry.
Visitors can purchase CBD buds and CBD hash, and the vision is to create a safe, relaxed space for patients to gather and medicate. The experience felt revolutionary — a true milestone and a major step toward a freer cannabis culture in Denmark and the Nordic countries.
PS: it was extremely hazy inside, as ventilation has yet to be installed.
